Grow  Groups

Sunday worship is the primary time when the family of God meets together, but it is not the only time. Growth Groups are smaller groups that meet in-between Sundays. These groups deepen our community as we share our lives, study God’s Word, and pray with one another, all that we might continually grow into maturity in Christ. 


Growth Group Union - These groups will resume in the fall.


Growth Group Kirkwood - These groups will resume in the fall.


Growth Group Quarryville - These groups will resume in the fall.


Group Group Octorara Pines - These groups will resume in the fall.

Adult classes

Two adult classes meet Sunday mornings at 9:00 am. These classes are designed to promote discussion on a biblical topic or book of the Bible.


Walk Through the Bible with Jerry Phillips - This group studies a different passage of Scripture each week using the ‘Bible Expositor and Illuminator’ notes.

children's ministry

The church should be a place where children feel at home and can grow in their faith. Children’s programs on Sunday morning include ‘Children’s Sunday School’ at 9:00 am and ‘Children’s Church’ for elementary-age kids during the sermon. In addition to Sunday worship, children have an opportunity to participate in special events held throughout the year.


For parents of the youngest among us. Our nursery is located down the hall from the sanctuary. You are welcome to use it at any time.

union Presbyterian women

Union Presbyterian Women (UPW) started in 1980 and has been the most vibrant and long-serving organization in all of Union's 200-plus years. The UPW conducts many fundraising events donating all of the proceeds to various church endeavors and facilitating church and community meals along with special events held at the church throughout the year. Many of Union's wonderful ladies have served the church well through their devotion to meeting regularly for Bible study at various times over the month and for special occasions. Currently, the UPW has two active bible studies.


Women’s Bible Study - Meets the second Monday of the month, one at 1:00 pm and another at 7:00 pm (September - June).
